How is it that in a country as rich and resourceful as ours, so many families are left struggling to care for their loved ones?

A Question of Care tells the stories behind this crisis—why our caregiving system is breaking down, how it’s affecting people every day, and what we must do to create a future where everyone gets the care they deserve.

As the U.S. rapidly ages, disability rates surge, and parents struggle to raise their children, families are increasingly realizing that the affordable and responsive care system they thought would be in place doesn’t exist. To understand why, A Question of Care delves into the question: what has happened to our country’s caregiving system?

Hosted by Robert Espinoza, a national expert and frequent speaker on the workforce and aging, this podcast tackles various urgent caregiving topics through interviews with leading experts and editorial commentary.

  • Season 1 focused on the primary challenges facing older people and our rapidly aging country.

  • Season 2 examines the roles and realities of direct care and childcare workers—the frontline workforce for millions of older adults, individuals with disabilities, and families.
